For over 30 years, we have been a leading Polish think-tank and educational hub, translating the timeless wisdom of Catholic Social Teaching into civic action and intellectual leadership.
Tertio Millennio Institute is a Catholic institution with 30 years of experience in education, formation, publishing, and public dialogue. Founded in Kraków in 1995 by Fr. Maciej Zięba OP, the Institute was inspired by John Paul II’s Tertio Millennio Adveniente and Novo Millennio Ineunte. From the beginning, our work has combined intellectual depth, social responsibility, and concrete action in service of the common good.
We promote and deepen Catholic social teaching, with a special focus on the thought of St. John Paul II. Our mission is to educate, form, connect, and inspire people who want to translate values into real social engagement. We build a vibrant community of students, graduates, experts, and partners who believe that reflection and action belong together.
Preserving & Promoting Legacy
We are deeply committed to preserving and promoting the legacy of St. John Paul II through contemporary projects that bring his timeless teaching to modern generations in an accessible form.
We organise educational and formative projects on international, national, and regional levels. Our programmes include prestigious competitions, elite seminars, academies, camps, and gatherings that create critical spaces for study, open dialogue, and community building across Poland.

Tertio is not only an institute and event organiser, but also a robust media platform. On tertio.pl, we regularly publish theological, cultural, social, and scientific content; on YouTube, we extend our conversations and project coverage; and via our dedicated podcast, we create an open space for serious reflection on philosophy, the Church, culture, and today’s key social challenges.
