About Us: Our Foundation Tertio Millennio Institute is a Catholic institution with 30 years of experience in education, formation, publishing, and public dialogue. Founded in Kraków in 1995 by Fr. Maciej Zięba OP, the Institute was inspired by John Paul II’s Tertio Millennio Adveniente and Novo Millennio Ineunte. From the beginning, our work has combined intellectual depth, social responsibility, and concrete action in service of the common good. We promote and deepen Catholic social teaching, with a special focus on the thought of St. John Paul II. Our mission is to educate, form, connect, and inspire people who want to translate values into real social engagement. We build a community of students, graduates, experts, and partners who believe that reflection and action belong together. What we do We are committed to preserving and promoting the legacy of St. John Paul II through projects that bring his teaching to new generations in a contemporary and accessible form. We organise educational and formative projects on international, national, and regional levels. Our programmes include competitions, seminars, academies, camps, and gatherings that create space for study, dialogue, and community, inspired by St. John Paul II. Across Poland, we also host public debates and local events that build relationships and encourage civic engagement. Through our portal, tertio.pl, we publish content on social, spiritual, cultural, and scientific topics. Our editorial work includes essays, opinions, interviews, and podcasts, all rooted in Catholic social teaching and designed to broaden public awareness and strengthen serious reflection on today’s world. 3. It included thematic debates with experts and journalists, followed by a Holy Mass and a concert to celebrate the Pope's legacy.
